SAN FRANCISCO – No. 8 Arizona State redshirt junior Ryan Millhof (125 lbs) has been named Pac-12 Wrestler of the Week (Jan. 15-21), voted upon and named by the conference Wednesday afternoon.
 
Millhof earned two victories over the weekend, defeating ranked opponents on back-to-back days. In the Pac-12 opener against Stanford on Friday, he defeated No. 22 Gabe Townsell by decision, 7-1, following it with a 9-4 decision over 2015 Pac-12 champion and two-time NCAA participant No. 6 Ronnie Bresser of Oregon State on Saturday.

After transferring from Oklahoma where he was an All-American in 2016, Millhof redshirted last season and is currently 13-3 (9-0 duals) this season, starting all but two duals for ASU this year. He's ranked in a tie for second (3) in tech falls and tied for fourth in pins (3) among Sun Devils.
 
Ranked as high as No. 12 by FloWrestling. he's ranked No. 15 in his weight class in the first edition of the NCAA Coaches Rankings.

The Sun Devils have earned two of three weekly awards thus far in 2017-18 after teammate Zahid Valencia, No. 1 at 174 lbs, earned the honor last week after ASU won their first-ever Virginia Duals.
 
Arizona State (9-2, 2-0 Pac-12) rides the third-longest win streak in program history (nine straight wins) into CSU Bakersfield tonight for an 8 pm MT Pac-12 matchup. There will be no live stream but the match will be live scored on Trackwrestling.com.
