TEMPE, Ariz. – The Golf Channel announced on Tuesday that the four semifinalists from the men's and women's 2017 NCAA Division I Golf Championships will compete in the 2017 East Lake Cup presented by Hewlett Packard Monday-Wednesday, Oct. 30-Nov. 1.

On the women's side, Arizona State leads the pack as the reigning national champions and will be joined by national runner-up Northwestern and semifinalists USC and Stanford. Notably, three of four semifinalists from the 2017 championships hail from the Pac-12.

"This is such a cool event and the East Lake Golf Club has such an amazing history," said head coach Missy Farr-Kaye. "I love this format and am excited to bring my team to Atlanta to experience the event. We've got a target on our back from beating two of the three teams in the NCAA championships last year, but we are very excited to have this opportunity."

The match play championship will be played at the historic East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Ga. over three days and will resemble the final three days of NCAA championships. On Monday, an individual stroke play round will take place to determine an individual champion and seed two days of match-play competition set for Tuesday (semifinals) and Wednesday (finals and consolation matches).

On the men's side, national champion Oklahoma will be joined by fellow semifinalists Oregon, Illinois, and Vanderbilt.

Farr-Kaye and Oklahoma head coach Ryan Hybl joined the Golf Channel Tuesday morning for a phone interview and the segment can be found HERE.
