PULLMAN/SEATTLE, Wash. – The Sun Devil women's tennis team rides a three-match winning streak into the Pacific Northwest for two Pac-12 matches against Washington State and No. 31 Washington. ASU (10-5, 3-2) enters Pullman on Friday, April 7 for a 2:30 p.m. MT serve against the Cougars (9-10, 0-5), followed by a day off in between before taking on the Huskies (14-5, 3-2) on Sunday, April 9 at 12 p.m. MT.

The last time the Devils took the court, they rolled to a 4-1 victory over the then-No. 38 Oregon Ducks in Tempe for a big conference victory.

"We're looking forward to our last road trip of the season. This is always a challenging trip as both WSU and UW have good teams that compete well particularly at home," said head coach Sheila McInerney. "With rain in the forecast, it looks like we will be indoors for WSU on Friday and possibly UW on Sunday. Indoors or outdoors, we are excited to compete."

Washington State is currently on a seven-match losing streak, which included three ranked opponents. The Cougars do not boast any players in the singles or doubles rankings currently.

The Huskies, on the other hand, have won four of their last six, including their most recent win over then-No. 39 USC for the first time since 2009. The Trojans captured the doubles point, which was followed by four-straight singles victories for UW and the win.

Junior Miki Kobayashi – who is currently ranked No. 123 in the ITA singles rankings – was named the Pac-12 Player of the Week after wins against both UCLA and USC on her respective court. Husky Stacey Fung, however, owns the highest ranking on the team at No. 50. Fung jumped up all the way to her highest-ever ranking from No. 118 in two weeks.

Against USC, Fung upset No. 20 Gabby Smith for her biggest victory of the season and her career.

She will likely face No. 61 Kassidy Jump of ASU on court one. Jump, who moved up four spots in this week's rankings, is coming off three-straight victories – including over then-No. 27 Carol Zi Yang of UNLV.

So far this season, Jump has faced the current No. 39, No. 9, No. 47, No. 1, No. 8, No. 10, No. 54, No. 22, No. 58, and No. 45 ranked players in the country.

In doubles, Washington's Kobayashi and Nour Abbes rank No. 44 this week as the only ranked pair for the Huskies.

ASU's Savannah Slaysman and Kelley Anderson have moved back into the polls at No. 72, while Nicole Fossa Huergo and Alex Osborne sit at No. 83.

All-time, the Devils are a whopping 23-1 against Washington State and 23-6 against Washington. The last time ASU dropped a match to either was on March 18, 2012 to WSU, and on April 5, 2008 to UW.

Both matches can be viewed on the respective team's live streams.
