TEMPE, Ariz. – The return of several members of the 1988 NCAA Championship Arizona State wrestling team to Tempe highlights a full weekend of events on Jan. 19-20, 2018.
The Sun Devils host Stanford (Jan. 19/8 pm) and Oregon State (Jan. 20/1:30 pm), both matches on the Pac-12 Network. Friday's match will serve as the annual MMA Night while Saturday's match will highlight and celebrate the 1988 team.
As part of the weekend, the ASU Wrestling Legends Celebration (Jan. 20) will further celebrate the 30th anniversary of the title and recognize the wrestlers and coaches who helped shape the program.
To register for the reception, click HERE. The reception is set to take place at Tempe Mission Palms (Jan. 20/4 pm) following Saturday's match with appetizers, raffles, a cash bar, and tributes to the storied Sun Devil team. The event is open to fans and supporters of all ages.
