SAN FRANCISCO -- Four members of the Arizona State volleyball team have been named to Pac-12 All-Academic teams, as announced by Commissioner Larry Scott, in conjunction with the conference, on Thursday afternoon.

The Sun Devils proved well represented, matching Washington State for a conference-best two first-team honorees – Halle Harker and Halle Johnson – in addition to honorable mention placements from Oluoma Okaro and Ivana Jeremic

Collecting her third consecutive league academic honor, graduating senior captain Halle Harker becomes the eighth student-athlete in program history to earn a spot on the teams in three-consecutive seasons, joining the likes of recent Arizona State greats such as Macey Gardner and Whitney Follette. Currently pursuing a degree in Political Science, Harker maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.84.

Capitalizing on her first year of eligibly to the honor, rising sophomore Halle Johnson joined Harker in netting first-team honors. Majoring in Communications, Johnson boasts an impressive 4.00 GPA.

Garnering the recognition for the first time in their respective careers, senior Oluoma Okaro (Biological Sciences, 3.24) and sophomore Ivana Jeremic (Interdisciplinary Studies, 3.23) round out the quartet of Sun Devil honorees. The accolade constitutes Okaro's second of the week, after the Lakewood native was named as a member to the 2017 All-Pac-12 squad on Tuesday.

To be eligible for selection to the respective academic teams, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and appear in at least 50 percent of their team's games.

Arizona State collectively wrapped the 2017 season this past Saturday, to the tune of a four-set loss to Rival Arizona.
