What are you most looking forward to this upcoming season?
I'm most looking forward to rising through the ranks with such an amazing, passionate and driven team. We've been putting in a lot of hard work in and out of the gym and I'm excited to see how competitive we will be this year.
What are your team goals you look to achieve for the upcoming season?
Some team goals we are looking to achieve this year are finishing top 20 in ranking, counting all hit routines (no falls) in competition, and of course, beating U of A!
What are your expectations for the team this upcoming season?
My expectations for this upcoming season are improving and beating our previous scores as meets go on and holding ourselves accountable to sticking landings and following through with our technique and good form.
What was your favorite memory from this past summer?
My favorite memory from this past summer was being able to intern with a high-end residential design firm called the Wiseman Group in San Francisco. As an Interior Design major, it was such an honor and great experience to get out into the field and work for the first time.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
If I could travel anywhere in the world I would travel to Greece because it's so picturesque and Greek food is so delicious. Looks like such a relaxing place!
Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
In 10 years from now I see myself owning my own residential design firm in the Bay Area or NYC, maybe with a family on the way :).
What sparked your love for gymnastics?
What sparked my love for gymnastics was the opportunity to flip through the air at a young age and push myself to overcome fear. Winning Western Championships in level 9 was a turning point for me and made me so much more passionate for the sport.
Other than Gymnastics, what are you passionate for?
Other than gymnastics, I'm passionate for nature and traveling. I love hiking and going on backpacking trips with my dad and exploring the beautiful environment we live in. Traveling has always been one of my favorite things and I love trying new foods and experiencing different cultures.
Outside of school work and practice, what do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time I like hanging out with friends and going shopping, getting froyo, or relaxing by the pool. I'm a huge food lover so I love cooking and baking too.
If were given a million dollars, what would be your first purchase?
I would buy a house in Sonoma County, however I would need 5 times that amount. I would most likely to spend it on food instead.
