LOS ANGELES – The Pac-12 all-star team continued strong performances on day two and ultimately reigned victorious over USA Swimming, 326.50-286.50, to close the two-day USA College Challenge.
Sophomore Cameron Craig anchored the winning men's 400 free relay team that closed the meet, tacking on 11 points to the Pac-12's tally.
Craig also scored points for the Pac-12 in the 200 free, his time good for ninth on ASU's all-time list, as he now holds seven places on the top-10 list in the event.
Silja Kansakoski's 100 breast time was also good for eighth on ASU's all-time list, as she now holds six spots on the list.
Christian Lorenz swam the 100 breast while Kendall Dawson anchored the Pac-12 "C" team in the women's 400 free relay.
The Sun Devils, whose men's team is ranked No. 8 in the CSCAA preseason poll, open the regular season with back-to-back dual meets at home this weekend, hosting Utah on Friday, Oct. 27 (4 pm) followed by No. 20/23 Florida State on Saturday, Oct. 28 (11 am).
