CORVALLIS, Ore.—The Arizona State volleyball team (10-11, 0-9 Pac-12) dropped a four-set match to Oregon State (15-7, 5-5 Pac-12), 29-27, 17-25, 16-25, 23-25 on Friday at Gil Coliseum.
Offensively, senior right-side hitter Oluoma Okaro led the Sun Devils with 21 kills on the night, just short of a double-double with nine digs. Following Okaro with kills were sophomore outside hitter Ivana Jeremic with 13 kills and freshman outside hitter Griere Hughes with 11.
Sophomore setter Nicole Peterson notched her fourth double-double of the year with 46 assists and 13 digs. Jeremic also notched a double-double, her fourth of the season, adding 12 digs to her 13 kills.
For the Beavers, Mary-Kate Marshall led the match with 22 kills, while setter Kylee McLaughlin posted 57 assists and 11 digs.
The Sun Devils have a quick turnaround up next, headed to Eugene, Ore., tomorrow, to take on the No. 15 Oregon Ducks. The match will be streamed via GoDucks.com with a 7 p.m. MST first serve.

"We played well at times tonight, but ultimately fell as a result of inconsistency" noted Sun Devil assistant coach Carlos Moreno. "I loved the energy we played with out of the gate, but we need to learn to maintain that energy and composure throughout a given match."
Senior libero Halle Harker finished the match with 24 digs, bringing her career total to 1,813, which makes her just the third Sun Devil in program history to surpass the 1,800 mark.
