TEMPE, Ariz. – Arizona State sophomore wide receiver N'Keal Harry is one of 10 players who have been added to the watch list for the 2017 Biletnikoff Award, according to an announcement by The Tallahassee Quarterback Club (creator and sponsor of the award) on Tuesday.

Given annually to the best receiver in college football (regardless of position), the award is named after Fred Biletnikoff, a member of the pro and college football halls of fame, who was an All-America receiver at Florida State University, and an All-Pro receiver for the Oakland Raiders.

Harry, whose 58 receptions led all freshman receivers in 2016, has positioned himself as one of the nation's top pass catchers four games into the 2017 season. Harry is currently 11th in the nation in receptions per game (7.8) and 12th in receiving yards (436). Harry played a big role in helping ASU nearly overcome an 18-point deficit at Texas Tech on Sept. 16 after accounting for 13 receptions (third-highest single-game total in school history) for a then-career-high 148 yards and one touchdown. This past Saturday, Harry would again post a career-high total in receiving yards after catching seven passes for 170 yards and one touchdown in ASU's 37-35 upset of No. 24 Oregon.

Going back to last season Harry has averaged 7.7 receptions for 102.1 yards in ASU's last seven games. All four of his career 100-yard receiving games have come in that stretch.

The Tallahassee Quarterback Club will announce the 10 Biletnikoff Award semifinalists on November 13, following the vote by the members of the Biletnikoff Award National Selection Committee. The three finalists will be declared, following another vote, on November 21.

The 2017 Biletnikoff Award winner will be presented live on December 7 on The Home Depot College Football Awards Show to be broadcast 7-9 p.m. ET on ESPN. College Football Hall of Famer, Heisman Trophy winner, and Biletnikoff Award voter Desmond Howard will present the 2017 Biletnikoff Award winner on the show.
