TEMPE – Coach Sheila McInerney has released the Sun Devil women's tennis program's 2017 fall and 2018 non-conference schedule that features seven home matches, several top-30 matchups and a road clash against 2017 NCAA semifinalist Ohio State.

The schedule currently features seven matches set to be played at Whiteman Tennis Center, including a three-match home-stretch from March 2-18 against San Diego State, UC Santa Barbara and Loyola Marymount.

The Sun Devils open the fall campaign in Lubbock, Texas, at the Team Luke Tennis Classic, running from Sept. 18-24. The tournament will be held at the Texas Tech McLeod Tennis Center and will feature over 40 nationally ranked tennis players.

The squad continues its stay in the Lone Star State in the TCU Invitational, taking place from Sept. 22-24.

The Devils play eight of their next 14 matches on the road, with stops in Ann Arbor Michigan; Stillwater, Oklahoma; and Madison, Wisconsin, for the Indoor Team Championships. The non-conference schedule reaches its climax when ASU heads Columbus, Ohio, on Feb. 25 to take on No. 3 Ohio State, who rolled into the Final Four and fell to Pac-12 champion Stanford, 4-3, in the NCAA semifinals back in May.

Rounding out the non-conference season at home, the Devils take on San Diego State, UC Santa Barbara and Loyola Marymount before getting into Pac-12 play.

Last year, ASU finished third in the conference (14-7, 7-3 Pac-12) behind the two Northern California squads, Stanford and California.

The Sun Devils' Pac-12 schedule will be released at a later date. The complete fall and non-conference schedule is available online.
