Hailing from San Antonio, Texas, newcomer Mary Vidal prepped at Antonian College Preparatory , where she garnered a laundry list of accolades. What drew you to Arizona State?
When I visited I fell in love with the campus, the people, and the amount of opportunities there were academically. After getting to know the volleyball program it overall felt like a family and a place where I could really succeed on and off the court.
If you could have dinner with anyone from any era, who would it be and why?
Pope Francis, because he knows how to relate to people of different beliefs/cultures around the world and I feel like he would give me great advice.

What is your hometown and what do you like best about it?
My hometown is San Antonio, Texas and I love how it's so diverse and historical. It's also home to my San Antonio Spurs!!
