TEMPE, Ariz. – Just prior to the start of their official inaugural season, the Arizona State women's lacrosse staff, under the direction of head coach Courtney Martinez Connor, will hold two different summer camps for current and aspiring lacrosse players.

Two sessions of the Sun Devil Lacrosse Elite Camp will take place over summer 2017, one from June 20-22 and the other July 21-23. Camp is open to any and all girls grades 7-12.

Each elite camp will include sessions on stick work, game play, and defensive team concepts and strategy.

Camp is available both on an overnight and commuter basis and will take place at Sun Devil Soccer/Lacrosse Stadium, Sun Devil Sports Performance, the Verde Dickey Dome, and the Mona Plummer Aquatic Complex, all on the Tempe campus of Arizona State University.

Coach Connor was a five-time NCAA champion at the University of Maryland where she was named Defender of the Year and NCAA Championship MVP in 2001, going on to play for the U.S. National Team.

She has coaching experience at Mt. St. Mary's University and UMBC, earning Conference Coach of the Year accolades at each. She has also instructed youth clinics, camps, clubs, and recreation programs for over 15 years.
