SUGAR GROVE, Illinois – With thunderstorms moving through the area throughout the entire day, Saturday's round two at the 2017 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships has been cancelled.
 
The championships will continue Sunday with Saturday's tee times and pairings moving to Sunday. The No. 7 Sun Devils, currently in a tie for third, will once again be paired with Florida State and USC on Sunday starting at 7:30 am CT/5:30 am PT from hole 10.
 
Linnea Strom will tee off at 7:30 am followed by Sophia Zeeb (7:41 am), Roberta Liti (7:52 am), Olivia Mehaffey (8:03 am), and Monica Vaughn (8:14 am).
 
Monday's pairings for the third and final round of stroke play will be determined based on standings following Sunday's round two.
 
In a deviation from the originally scheduled plan, the stroke play portion of the championships will now be 54 holes and will not feature a cut to the top 15 before the final round of stroke play.
 
After Monday, the field will be cut to the top eight teams, which will advance to match play quarterfinals Tuesday morning. At the end of Monday, an individual medalist will also be determined.
 
With two rounds of stroke play yet to go, the top eight teams are as follows: No. 12 Northwestern, No. 14 Kent State, No. 25 Ohio State, No. 7 Arizona State, No. 1 Stanford, No. 17 Baylor, No. 11 South Carolina, and No. 35 North Carolina.
 
Match play quarterfinals and semifinals will take place Tuesday, with the National Championship match to take place Wednesday.
 
Golf Channel will start their coverage Monday at 3 p.m. CT and coverage will continue through match play Tuesday and Wednesday.
