LUBBOCK, Texas – After ending day one on top of the leaderboard, the No. 7 Arizona State women's golf team not only maintained but extended their lead at NCAA Regionals in Lubbock on Tuesday.

The Sun Devils shot 11-under on the day, four strokes away from the program record for low 18-hole team scores vs. par, and now are 6-under for the tournament, 12 strokes ahead of Texas Tech in second (+6). Oregon and No. 10 Furman are tied for third (+7).

Monica Vaughn moved up three places into sole possession of the top spot individually, shooting the tournament's second lowest round of the day (68), while Linnea Strom and Olivia Mehaffey advanced nine spots into a tie for seventh (69). Mehaffey's round two matched her collegiate career low.

Roberta Liti also jumped up 11 spots in the standings, shooting one-under on the day (71) to round out ASU's countable four.
