MIAMI, Fla. -- The No. 12 Arizona State beach volleyball team (9-11, 1-2 Pac-12) concluded play at the 2017 Surf & Turf Invitational garnering a pair of victories over New Orleans (4-1) and No. 14 Florida Atlantic (3-2) respectively, before falling to No. 4 FSU (0-5) Saturday morning.
The Maroon and Gold quickly flipped the script on a challenging first day at the event. The Sand Devils earned an early morning, 4-1, win over New Orleans, followed by a 3-2 decision over No. 14 Florida Atlantic.
The senior duo of Bianca Arellano and Whitney Follette capped the weekend with five victories to lead the Devil squad. The No. 2 pair of Oluoma Okaro and Madison Berridge also notched two wins on the afternoon.
Coach Brad Keenan's will be back in action on Friday Apr. 7, taking on conference-affiliate No. 1 USC, before traveling to Hermosa Beach, Calif. for the USAV Challenge on Apr. 8.
