TEMPE, Ariz. -- Sun Devil Football added two defensive backs to their roster for the upcoming 2017 season, the team announced on Tuesday.

Junior DeMonte King and sophomore Kobe Williams add depth at the position, as the two transfer from Long Beach City College in California. 

From Bellflower, Calif., King stands at 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds and is listed as a versatile defensive back with the ability to fit in an any position in the defensive backfield. 

His counterpart and teammate, Williams, uses his speed and agility to excel at his position. The Long Beach-native started at LBCC as a 17-year old freshman and earned First-Team All-CCCAA National Division Central League honors. In his 11 appearances, Williams recorded 21 tackles, five pass breakups, two tackles for loss and one interception.
