TEMPE, Ariz. – The No. 5 Arizona State women's golf team plays host to a 14-team field for this week's PING/ASU Invitational at ASU Karsten Golf Course (Apr. 7-9).
The field includes three top-25 teams in ASU, No. 15 Baylor, and No. 17 Arizona as well as Kansas State, Kentucky, LSU, Missouri, Northern Arizona, New Mexico, Oregon State, San Diego State, SMU, UNLV, and Washington.
Arizona State has won the most titles in the tournament's history by far (19), with their last team victory in 2007. Individually, Monica Vaughn shared the title in 2015, with 16 individual titles for the Sun Devils.
The teams will play 18 holes each day on the par-72, 6,223-yard course, with Friday and Saturday starting at 8 a.m. and Sunday starting at 7:30 a.m.
UCLA won the tournament in 2016, while the Bruins' Bronte Law also earned a title, setting a new individual three-round low for the tournament (204). Alabama holds the team low record (845) from 2013.
