FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – The Arizona State men's swim team capped a momentous week at the 2017 Pac-12 men's swim championships with a set of titles – Cameron Craig in the 100 free as well as the 400 free relay team.

"We finished the meet with our best session yet," said head coach Bob Bowman. "As I told the team, finishing well is the hallmark of great teams. We are so proud to represent ASU and are excited for the NCAA championships in two weeks."

Craig becomes the fourth all-time ASU men's swimmer to win multiple titles in the same year alongside Peter Boden (1987), Christiano Michelena (1993), and Francisco Sanchez (1997). For his performance this week, he was named Pac-12 Swimmer of the Meet.

"Cameron finished a tremendous week with two wins and some significant times. I'm so happy with his progress and his competitive fire."

Craig set a new 100 free record in prelims before breaking his own record in his championship race, the sixth fastest time in the nation.

"Richie and Christian swam really well and both set strong individual records."

Richard Bohus (200 back) and Christian Lorenz (200 breast) each also set new ASU records while also earning a pair of podium finishes.

Bohus, Andrew Porter, Tadas Duskinas, and Craig ended the meet on a high note with a championship in the 400 free relay.

The Sun Devil relay title was just the fourth all-time relay championship in the Pac-12/10 for the ASU men and first since 1997.

ASU finished fourth in the meet (531) while Stanford (784), Cal (767), and USC (657) went 1-2-3. The Sun Devils finished ahead of Arizona (360) and Utah (257), and with a finish ahead of the Wildcats, picked up a Territorial Cup® point for the 2016-17 season. ASU finishes ahead of U of A for the first time since 2003.

The fourth place finish is Arizona State's highest for the men since 2008 when they also finished fourth while their 531 points was the highest number of points accumulated in a Pac-10/12 championship as a team.

Men's swim has just over two weeks to prepare for NCAA championship in Indianapolis, Ind. Thursday, Mar. 23-Saturday, Mar. 25.
