FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – In one of the most momentous days in Arizona State men's swim history, Cameron Craig won an individual Pac-12 championship in the 200 free while eight school records fell on day three of the 2017 Pac-12 Men's Swim Championships.

"Today was an incredibly special day for our program – eight school records, our first individual Pac-12 champion and the best relay performance in ASU history," said head coach Bob Bowman.

The Sun Devils started the historic day setting three new school records in the prelims – Andrew Porter (100 fly), Christian Lorenz (100 breast), and Richard Bohus (100 back), the second two breaking their own school records.

In the second event of the evening finals. Tadas Duskinas continued momentum with a new ASU record in the 100 fly followed by Craig's Pac-12 title and Arizona State record in the 200 free.

Craig's championship was the first for Sun Devil men's swim since Alex Coci (200 fly) in 2014 and it was the first 200 free title for ASU since Nick Brunelli in 2004. Alongside Troy Dalbey in 1991, Craig's title is just the third all-time for the Sun Devils in this event.

In the 100 back finals, Bohus broke his own school record for the second time on the day, finishing second and just .15 behind Olympic gold medalist Ryan Murphy (Cal). He would complete the feat one more time on the leadoff leg of the 400 medley relay, lowering his own school record three different times in today's competition.

ASU capped the historic day with one more school record, topping the 400 medley relay record by 3.5 seconds. Bohus, Lorenz, Porter, and Craig downed their own record from November.

"I am so proud of the guys for believing in our vision and for making it a reality.  I'm sure I will remember today for years to come.  It's a great time to be a Sun Devil!"

Following day three, the Sun Devils have toppled 12 different school records at this week's championships and 15 records on the season.

In the team race, ASU stays in fourth (373) while Stanford (588), Cal (523) and USC (494) are the top three. Arizona (246) and Utah (167) are fifth and sixth.

The final day of competition Saturday will start at 12 noon MT/11 am PT with the 200 back, 100 free, 200 breast, and 200 fly prelims. The 1650 free (slowest to second-fastest heats) will start at 5 pm MT/4 pm PT while the fastest heat will be at 7 pm MT/6 pm PT.

The last set of finals kicks off Saturday night at 7:35 pm MT/6:35 pm PT with the 200 back, 100 free, 200 breast, 200 fly, and 400 free relay.
