TEMPE, Ariz.– The No. 12 Arizona State beach volleyball team (7-7, 1-1 Pac-12) will travel to Miami, Florida for the 5th annual Surf and Turf Invitational, Mar. 31-Apr. 1. Brad Keenan's squad will compete in six duals over the course of the two-day tournament which features an impressive field including No. 3 UCLA, No. 4 Florida State, No. 14 Florida Atlantic and No. 15 Florida International.

No. 3 UCLA…The Bruins boast a 13-2 record in 2017 with 11 consecutive wins to their credit. Under the direction of fifth-year head coach Stein Metzger, UCLA earned victories over California (4-1) and No. 6 Long Beach State (3-2) in their last outing at the Long Beach Mizuno Invitational (Mar. 27).
TULANE…Hot off consecutive sweeps over Lincoln Memorial and UNC Wilmington, Tulane holds a 13-5 record in 2017.

The Sun Devil senior duo of Bianca Arellano and Whitney Follette garnered their fifth consecutive victory and team-best tenth of the 2017 campaign, defeating Louisiana State's Emmy Allen and Lilly Kessler in straight sets (21-17, 21-19). The prolific pairing who has combined for a program-best 25-14 record over the course of their careers, paced Arizona State throughout the two-day Texas Christian hosted event, sweeping each of their three respective matches.

The Sun Devils return ten letter-winners in 2017, including the No. 1s duo of Bianca Arellano and Whitney Follette who were named to the inaugural All-Pac-12 First Team at the culmination of the 2016 season.
