TEMPE, Ariz. – The No. 4 Arizona State women's golf team has the benefit of proximity this week as Notre Dame hosts the Clover Cup in nearby Mesa, Ariz. Friday, Mar. 17-Sunday, Mar. 19 at Longbow Golf Club. The 6,184-yard course is par-72.
 
Participating teams alongside the Sun Devils include host-Notre Dame, Cincinnati, FIU, No. 3 Florida State, Houston, Indiana, IUPUI, Kentucky, Minnesota, Nebraska, No. 24 Oklahoma, TCU, UNCG, and Vanderbilt.
 
The Sun Devils will tee off on Friday on hole one between 9:40 and 10:20 PT along with Florida State and Oklahoma. Friday and Saturday rounds begin on hole 1 and 10, while Sunday morning will feature a shotgun start.
 
Two seasons ago, Arizona State won the tournament (Mar. 13-15, 2015) behind a second-place finish by Monica Vaughn and a fifth-place finish from Noemi Jimenez. Sophia Zeeb (13th) and Roberta Liti (18th) also finished in the top-20.

ASU posted their third consecutive top-three finish at South Carolina's Darius Rucker Invitational two weeks ago, also winning the Pac-12 Preview to close the fall and finishing a close second at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge to start the spring season.
 
This weekend will be the first of two weekends competing at or near home over the next month, with the annual PING/ASU Invitational set for Apr. 7-9 at ASU Karsten Golf Course.
