adidas and Arizona State University today unveil the Create Yours uniform collection for the 2017 NCAA basketball postseason. The uniform collection features design elements that honor ASU's unique identity and school history and will be on-court beginning Wednesday, March 8 at the Pac-12 Men's Basketball Tournament in Las Vegas. The Sun Devil women's basketball team wore the Create Yours uniforms at the Pac-12 Women's Basketball Tournament last week in Seattle, Wash.
The 2017 Create Yours collection features a re-engineered mesh fabric designed for increased breathability. The jerseys and shorts both feature French terry wipe-zones for further sweat management during the game's biggest moments.
For the first time, both men's and women's teams will don new uniforms for postseason play. The men's jerseys have "Go Devils" on the inside of the neck and "Fear the Fork" emblazoned towards the bottom to emphasize a team-first mentality. The sunbeam print on the men's shorts is inspired by the iconic Arizona desert sunrise and the ASU's Pitchfork logo.
The women's jerseys have team-themed black trim strategically placed at the bottom of the jersey so the players can look down and see "Give 'em Hell!" when they need encouragement. The women's shorts say "Sun Devils" down the side with the Pitchfork logo on the opposite leg.
Players will lace up in Sun Devil themed editions of Harden Vol. 1, the first signature shoe for ASU alumni James Harden. The Harden Vol. 1 features a BOOST midsole and customized sockliners with the Sun Devil logo and mascot Sparky.
Sun Devil fans can pick up their jersey at adidas.com and campus area retailers beginning this March.
