BALTIMORE, Md. – Press Box Online recently compiled a list of Baltimore's 15 Greatest Sports Families and, alongside her father Tippy, ASU head lacrosse coach Courtney Martinez-Connor was named to the list.

Tippy Martinez played 11 seasons for the Baltimore Orioles, recording 105 saves, and was named an All-Star during the team's 1983 World Series championship season.

Martinez-Connor led Baltimore-area Loch Raven High School to three state lacrosse championships and was a member of five NCAA championship teams at the University of Maryland, thanks to a redshirt.

The Martinezes come in at No. 12 on the list with other notables like the Shulas (Don, Dave, and Mike), the Harbaughs (John and Jim), and the Ripkens (Cal Jr., Cal Sr., and Billy).
