DURHAM, N.H. – The Sun Devils embark on the longest road trip of the season, as they start the 10-day journey at the University of New Hampshire on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. (EST). The following afternoon, the Devils (1-8-0) will travel an hour south to take on No. 3 Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Mass. at 3 p.m. (EST).

The voyage will continue with a day's drive to State College, Penn. for a two-game series against the last program to make the move to NCAA Division I status in No. 12 Penn State.

"It is a great point in our season for our young group to get away on a long road trip and become even closer," said head coach Greg Powers. "Trips like these against such great programs in UNH, BC, and Penn State are where in a few years we will all look back and know that this group and this type of trip was a major program building block for Sun Devil Hockey."

The Wildcats (4-4-1) are the first unranked team the Devils will face so far this season, but are nothing shy of a prestigious program. Since 2000, UNH has captured two Hockey East Tournament Championships, while also finishing as runner-ups in three.

Head coach Dick Umile, who enters his 27th season, has led the Wildcats to four Frozen four appearances, 18 NCAA Tournaments and eight Hockey East Regular Season Championships.

Through nine games, UNH is led by freshman forward Patrick Grasso, who has nine goals in nine games this season – along with four assists. Senior forward Tyler Kelleher is their top-scoring returner with five goals and eight assists so far this season.

UNH is coming off their first loss in four-straight games, as they fell to No. 3 Boston College on Tuesday night, 5-3. The Wildcats trailed the entire game, but found a way to tie it at three with just over four minutes left in the 3rd period. The Eagles scored the game-winner with 2:27 to go in the game before burying an empty-netter for the 5-3 final.

ASU gets back to work after a 4-1 loss to then-No. 17 Michigan just a week ago. While the Devils entered the first intermission in a 1-1 tie, an unreviewable goal and two special teams' breakdowns led to their demise.

Graduate senior Robbie Baillargeon continues to show pace the team with six goals in seven games so far this season, while redshirt sophomore Dylan Hollman has totaled six points in nine appearances.

On Sunday, the Devils will face the highest ranked opponent during their short time in the NCAA. The Eagles (9-2-1) haven't lost a game since Oct. 14, as they have won eight of their last nine games with an overtime tie mixed in.

Boston College has only played two current ranked teams, as they defeated current No. 2 Denver at the Ice Breaker Tournament in early October and took care of No. 17 Providence two weeks ago. The Eagles are currently averaging 4.08 goals per game, and lead the NCAA with 139 total points (49G, 90A) in 12 games.
