TEMPE, Ariz. – In preparation for the announcement of the 2016-17 regular season schedule, the ASU wrestling staff announces the team's annual Maroon & Gold Intrasquad match as well as a coaching clinic the same weekend.
The Maroon and Gold match will be the first look for fans to see this season's squad in an event open to the public.
Preliminary matches will be held on Friday, Oct. 28, time still TBD, at the Riches Wrestling Complex (391 S Rural Rd. Tempe, AZ 85281) while the finals will be held at Wells Fargo Arena (600 E Veterans Way. Tempe, AZ 85281) on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m.
Zeke Jones and his coaching staff have added a coaching clinic to the weekend's festivities on Saturday, Oct. 29 and Sunday, Oct. 30 held at ASU (exact location TBD). The cost is $125 per coach and the clinic will include a technique session, rules clinic, and classroom session.
