TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced their Division I All-America teams on Thursday, and Arizona State senior Desirae Krawczyk was named to the singles list while doubles' pair Ebony Panoho and Alex Osborne made the doubles list. It's the first honor for all three of them.
Krawczyk, who was ranked No. 28 in the season-end rankings, advanced all the way to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championships -- further than the senior had ever advanced in her previous three seasons.
During the season, Krawczyk defeated the then-No.1 ranked player in the country for the second-straight year. She also reached 99 career victories during her ASU tenure, ranking her fourth all-time in program history.
Pac-12 doubles champions Panoho and Osborne continued their postseason success once they reached the NCAA Championship Tournament, also advancing to the quarterfinals before being eliminated by the eventual national champions.
This season was the first time the Australian pair played as the No. 1 doubles pair, as they were promoted after an early injury. They held a 21-9 record during the 2015-16 season.
Twenty-four student-athletes were selected to the singles roster while 14 pairs were named to the doubles list.
