TULSA, Okla. -- It was a bittersweet day for the Arizona State women's tennis program on the third day of the NCAA Individual Championships at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

While senior and No. 35 singles' player Desirae Krawczyk fell in a tough battle against No. 8 Sinead Lohan of Miami in the morning, No. 15 Ebony Panoho and Alex Osborne made it three All-American honors for the Sun Devil program this season thanks to a huge comeback victory in the afternoon.

Krawczyk, who became an All-American for the first time in her four-year career thanks to a victory on Thursday, had a tough match-up with Lohan and fought her heart out from the start. The senior was in search of her 100th career victory as a Sun Devil.

After a fast start and big lead by Lohan in the first set, Krawczyk battled back and nearly finished the comeback.

"Des got off to a slow start down 5-1 and battled back and had a game point to get it to 5-5," said head coach Sheila McInerney. "If she could have won that game, I think the result may have been different."

She continued to grind in the second, keeping it close at 3-3 and 4-5 before Lohan again finished the set and match with a 6-4 win.

"It was not the result Des wanted today, but we are really proud of her effort and fight," said McInerney. "Credit Lohan as she was tough when she absolutely needed to be. We would have loved to see Desirae advance but are grateful for all that she has meant to our program both on and off the court. We will miss her dearly, but are very excited to follow her tennis at the next level."

Later that afternoon, Panoho and Osborne stepped onto the court to take on No. 16 Breaunna Addison and Danielle Wagland of Texas in the round of 16.

Similar to Krawczyk's match, the two got down early and eventually lost the first set, 6-1. However, that knocked them down but not out, as the Pac-12 doubles champions took a 3-3 tie in the second to an eventual 6-4 victory in the second to force a 10-point tiebreak.

Panoho and Osborne never trailed, going up 2-0 before pushing it all the way to a 5-1 lead and winning the tiebreak set 10-6 over Addison and Wagland.

The victory made them automatic All-Americans and the first time since 2000 that the Sun Devil program has had three in the same season.

"I'm really happy for Ebony and Alex, as they bounced back from a tough first-set loss and played very solid and aggressive tennis to pull it out," said McInerney. "It's nice to be in the quarterfinals and excited to play an excellent Florida team tomorrow."

Panoho and Osborne will take on No. 3 Brooke Austin and Kourtney Keegan (30-7) of Florida at Noon CT/10 a.m. PT. You can watch that match here

This is the first time since 2013 that ASU has had a doubles team in the quarterfinals. No Sun Devil doubles team has ever made it to the semifinals in program history.
