The Sun Devil Athletics Caravan made its final two stops of the 2016 Tour in Anaheim, Calif. and Yuma, Ariz., May 24 and 25.
On Tuesday, the day began with a private pep rally event, Sparky’s Tour, at Taft Elementary School in Santa Ana with appearances from head ice hockey coach Greg Powers, head soccer coach Kevin Boyd and Director of Volleyball Stevie Mussie. The caravan then made its way to The Boy’s and Girls Club of Anaheim where coaches, student-athletes and members of the band and 942 crew played games with the children. The day wrapped up at The Catch for A Sun Devil VIP Meet and Greet.
The tour continued the next morning as the crew made the drive to Yuma, Ariz. Powers and Jones participated in another Sparky’s Tour, which was held at Alice Byrne Elementary before visiting the local pediatric unit to brighten some patient’s days.

The rest of the caravan traveling party headed to the Yuma Food Bank next where the group helped sort and bag food, while also showcasing their true competitive spirit.

The day was rounded out by the final Sun Devil Meet and Greet at Prison Hill Brewing Company where ASU fans down south have a chance to meet and interact with Sun Devil coaches, administrators, and student-athletes.
