TEMPE, Ariz.Frank Darby, a wide receiver out of Lincoln High in Jersey City, N.J., has signed a grant-in-aid with Sun Devil Football and will be eligible to compete immediately.

Darby, at 6-foot-1, 200 pounds, also returned kicks and played safety at Lincoln. In 2015 he picked up 957 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns on 35 receptions on the way to first-team all-state honors, Lincoln High’s first recipient in four decades.

The football program will make its annual trek to Camp Tontozona —ASU’s iconic preseason football camp — on Tuesday, August 2 through Saturday, August 6. The 2016 season kicks off Sept. 3 against Northern Arizona at Sun Devil Stadium.
