TEMPE, Ariz.—Arizona State University and Sun Devil Athletics proudly announces that 84 student-athletes will graduate with their undergraduate degrees and four with their graduate degrees as part of the spring and summer commencement ceremonies.
Including the winter graduates, 109 Sun Devil student-athletes received their degrees in 2015-16.
29 student-athletes graduated with honors: nine Suma Cum Laude (3.80 to 4.00 GPA), nine Magna Cum Laude (3.60 to 3.79 GPA), and 12 Cum Laude (3.40 to 3.59 GPA).
Five student-athletes graduated in less than four years, and six other student-athletes also earned a Leadership and Ethics Certificate as part of the first-ever Tip of the Fork Cohort: Kiera Bulluck (Women’s Track & Field), Jamie Friderichs (Women’s Swimming), Ginger Jarchow (Women’s Track & Field), Abbey Kerth (Water Polo), Jennifer Morgan (Women’s Swimming), and Katie Sverchek (Water Polo). Additionally, women’s basketball’s Elisha Davis earned the Leadership and Ethics Certificate when she graduated this past fall.
All 86 of the May and summer graduates and their families were honored at the SDA Student-Athlete Graduation Luncheon Monday at the Tempe Mission Palms.
