"I have informed Dr. Rene Lyst that she will not be retained as the head gymnastics coach at Arizona State University. The decision was made under the “termination without cause” provision of Coach Lyst’s contract. I want to thank Rene for her service to ASU, especially her commitment to academic excellence and community service. Effective immediately, Ralph Rosso will serve as interim head coach and we will conduct a national search for a new head coach that is the best fit for our program, university and community.”
