TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Arizona State University football game at the University of Texas-San Antonio this fall, originally scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 17, has been moved to Friday, Sept. 16 at the request of the Conference USA office to accommodate a national television broadcast. Specific details regarding the game time and the television carrier will be announced at a later date.
A byproduct of the date change will be that ASU will have one extra day to prepare for its Pac-12 Conference opener versus California, one week later on Saturday, September 24 at Sun Devil Stadium/Frank Kush Field.
