SEATTLE – The Arizona State gymnastics team finished the season at the Pac-12 Gymnastics Championships on Saturday, scoring a 191.725 in the opening session. The UCLA Bruins finished in first place with a 197.250, followed by Oregon State and Utah with a 196.925 each.
The Gym Devils had a solid vault performance, hitting their second highest score of the season with a 48.475. Senior Taylor Allex scored a 9.850 to lead the team, followed by fellow senior Allie Salas’ 9.750.
Bars proved to be another strong event for the Gym Devils, scoring a 48.225 collectively. Senior Carissa Kraus posted her second highest score of the season with a 9.825. Salas followed with a 9.700, and freshman Justine Callis also posted her second highest score of the season with a 9.650.
Junior Beka Conrad had the highest beam score for the Gym Devils with a 9.825, tying her career high for the third time this season. Freshman Heather Udowitch tied her season high with a 9.800.
On floor, the Gym Devils were led by Allex’s 9.850 and Udowitch’s 9.750.
