LONG BEACH, Calif. - The Arizona State beach volleyball team (3-4) dropped its final road match of the weekend to No. 4 Long Beach State, falling 4-1 at the LBSU sand courts.
The No. 3 team of Madison Berridge and Bethany Wedepohl swept Ciana Wagner and Mykah Wilson of LBSU, 21-17, 21-12 for the only Sun Devil victory of the day. The pair finished the week at a team-leading 2-1.
Up next, the Sun Devils hit the road again, this time to Albuquerque, N.M., for the New Mexico Spring Beach Volleyball Tournament, March 18-19. The Sun Devils will face Colorado Mesa and New Mexico for the second time this season, and they will also face New Mexico State University for the first time.
