BOULDER, Colo. -- The Arizona State women's tennis team started their first Pac-12 road trip off on the right foot with a 7-0 victory over Colorado (5-7, 0-1) on Friday afternoon.
The No. 26 Sun Devils move to 2-1 in conference play and 8-4 on the season.
Doubles started off as head coach Sheila McInerney wanted, with the women taking charge of their respective matches.
No. 69 Kassidy Jump and Sammi Hampton took the first match with a 6-2 win over Alex Aiello and Brigitte Beck, making it eight-straight victories for the duo in doubles.
On court two, the senior pair of Desirae Krawczyk and Stephanie Vlad continued to show flashes of their former selves as a combo, clinching the doubles point after a 6-3 deciding match.
In singles, No. 23 Krawczyk wasted no time with a 6-3, 6-4 straight-set win over Nuria Ormeno Ruiz.
On court five, freshman Sammi Hampton got back to her winning ways after her perfect season was snapped last week versus Stanford. She rolled to a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Kyra Wojcik.
Gussie "The Grinder" O'Sullivan clinched the fourth and deciding match point for the Devils, winning in straight sets 6-1, 6-3.
On courts three and four, Vlad and Panoho both lost their first set before rallying to win the final two in their respective matches. Panoho played a full set in her third, winning 6-0, while Vlad won the tiebreak 10-1.
Jump -- now ranked No. 54 in singles -- cruised to victory to continue her recent success with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Jeannez Daniel.
The women will travel to Utah for a Pac-12 Network showdown with the Utes, who are currently ranked No. 63. The match will kick off at 1 p.m. MT.
