TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizona State University and adidas today unveiled the Sun Devils’ new Primeknit football uniforms for the 2015 season. Developed in collaboration with Sun Devil Athletics, the new uniforms are at the forefront of design and innovation, providing players with the perfect blend of style and technology for elite performance.
Inspired by the team’s pitchfork logo, the Sun Devils’ new look amplifies the team’s iconic identity. At the center of the theme, the pitchfork logo is prominently showcased on the helmet and pants, while the shoulder pad design pays homage to the logo by incorporating a pitchfork spike theme into the stripes. Additionally, ‘Arizona State’ is highlighted in bold, metallic colors across the chest and accented with matching numbers and player names to create a signature look. Providing form and function, the metallic letters and numbers are created from a stretch material and serrated, allowing for maximum ventilation and flexibility.

Arizona State will debut their new uninforms on Saturday, September 5th when the Sun Devils take on Texas A&M at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. After every win, a Sun Devil player uses the team hammer to crush a rock as part of the locker room celebration, and the team’s TECHFIT Gun Show baselayer pays tribute to this tradition with the mantra “Break the Rock” displayed across the chest. Rounding out the new look are custom adizero 5-Star 4.0 cleats and the adizero 5-Star 4.0 gloves featuring the pitchfork logo.
