TEMPE, Ariz. - The Pac-12 Conference announced their swimmer and diver's of the month for November on Wednesday afternoon and sophomore Patrick Park was named the men's swimmer of the month.

The award becomes the first for an Arizona State swimmer since C.J. Nuess in December of 2007 and the third all-time for ASU.

Park earned five individual first-place finishes in the month of November, along with five first-place relay finishes. He also compiled two individual third-place times and a third-place relay time -- all at the Art Adamson Invitational in College Station, Texas between Nov. 19-21.

In College Station, Park was a part of the two Sun Devil relay teams that set then-NCAA bests for the season.

Park clocked a 47.33 in the 100-meter fly and 1:44.72 in the 200-meter fly. He also swam in the 400-meter relay (2:54.84) and 800-meter relay (6:29.91), winning both events with the fastest times in the NCAA at both distances at the time. The sophomore then posted wins in the 200-meter fly (1:47.68), 100-meter free (44.63) and 400-meter free relay (2:58.45) in Arizona State's meet against Air Force. In the meet versus USC, Park went undefeated once again, winning the 200-meter fly (1:46.15), 100-meter free (45.13), 200-meter free relay (1:21.75) and 200-meter medley relay (1:30.07).

His 100- and 200-meter butterfly times at the Art Adamson Invite put him top-three all-time in ASU history as well.

Park and his teammates remain on winter break until Jan. 16 when they take on Wyoming at Mona Plummer Aquatic Center at noon.
