TEMPE, Ariz. – Sun Devil Athletics today announced that the Sun Devil women’s basketball team’s game time for its contest vs. Cal on Jan. 2 at Wells Fargo Arena has been moved up to 5 p.m. MT.
ASU asked the Pac-12 to move up the game time in order to avoid a direct conflict with the Sun Devil football team’s Motel 6 Cactus Bowl matchup vs. West Virginia that kicks off at 8:15 p.m. at Chase Field in Phoenix.
The ASU-Cal game will still be shown on Pac-12 Networks.
Winners of five of their last six games, the No. 21 Sun Devils return to action on Saturday when they host Marquette at 3 p.m. MT at Wells Fargo Arena. Two days later (Mon., Dec. 21 at 3 p.m. MT) the Sun Devils will host No. 11 Florida State in a rematch of last season’s NCAA Sweet 16 contest.
