TEMPE, Ariz.—The Arizona State volleyball team (19-12) earned its fourth-straight at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament and will take on Florida State (24-7) in the opening round, on Thursday, Dec. 3 at 2:30 p.m. MT/4:30 p.m. ET at the University of Florida’s Stephen C. O’Connell Center in Gainesville, Fla.

“More than anything, I’m just so very, very happy for our athletes,” head coach Jason Watson said. “They have endured, they have persevered, and they have been resilient under some extremely trying circumstances. For us to get to go, it’s a credit to perhaps their perseverance. I’m really happy for our seniors and excited that our new athletes get to experience this as well.”

No. 11 seed Florida (22-6), the host of the first and second rounds, will follow the Sun Devils’ match, hosting New Hampshire (21-8) at 5 p.m. MT/7 p.m. ET. The winners will advance to the second round and play on Friday, Dec. 4 at 5 p.m. MT/7 p.m. ET.

Tickets for the NCAA First & Second Rounds in Gainesville will go on sale at 6:30 a.m. MT/8:30 a.m. ET Monday morning (Nov. 30) online at http://www.gatorzone.com/tickets/, and at the Gator Ticket Office, located between Gates 1 & 2 of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

ASU is playing in Gainesville as part of the Austin Regional, and the winners will take on the winner of the matches between Iowa State and Miami (FL) and Oregon and No. 6 Wisconsin, which will be contested at Wisconsin on Dec. 3, on Friday, Dec. 11.

The meeting with the Seminoles marks the first since 1984, when the Sun Devils picked up the three-set sweep as part of the second round of postseason competition.

The Sun Devils have gone to the NCAA Tournament in four straight seasons only two other times in program history, from 1992 to 1995, and 1985 to 1988.

The Pac-12 Conference has seven teams selected for postseason play, including No. 1 seed USC, No. 5 seed Washington, No. 14 seed UCLA, Arizona, Stanford, Oregon, and the Sun Devils.
