TEMPE, Ariz.—The 2015-16 Arizona State wrestling team will compete in front of its fans for the first time this season as it hosts its annual Maroon & Gold Intersquad on Friday.
The event, in conjunction with Sun Devil Wrestling’s Alumni & Friends Weekend, is open to the public at the Riches Wrestling Complex, with the preliminary matches starting at 8 a.m. PT, and the finals set for a 5 p.m. PT start.

ASU will open the year on Sunday, Nov. 8 at the West Virginia Duals in Morgantown, W.Va., against West Virginia, Campbell, and Drexel. The Sun Devils’ home opener is set for Thursday, Nov. 12, against Northern Colorado at 5 p.m. MT at Wells Fargo Arena.
Also set to compete representing ASU, redshirt senior Blake Stauffer will be in action on Sunday, Nov. 1, at the NWCA All-Star Classic in Atlanta, Ga. The event is set for 5-7 p.m. ET and will air on ESPNU.
