Home sweet home.

The Sun Devils returned home this weekend and finished off the two-game sweep of Southern New Hampshire, dispatching the Penmen Saturday night by a score of 7-1.

Freshman forward Cody Gylling got the scoring started for ASU when redirected a shot from freshman forward Jordan Masters at the 12:51 mark of the first period. Once the puck hit twine, Gylling was officially in the stat sheet with the first goal of his collegiate career. He would add his second goal in the third period.

Sometimes it is hard for a defenseman to get noticed. But the way freshman Joey Raats has been scoring, he isn't staying off anyone's roster. Raats had a goal (the first of his career) and two assists, giving him eight points in seven games.

Joining the club with his first career goal were freshman defenseman Liam McGing, junior defenseman Brock Krygier and freshman forward Anthony Croston. Masters also had his second goal of the season.

Freshman Ryland Pashovitz started between the pipes and saved 13 of 14 shots to pick up his second win of the season.

ASU hits the road for a two-game set with Wisconsin beginning Friday, Oct. 30 in Madison.
