HAMDEN, Conn– Arizona State’s road trip did not begin with a kind host, as No. 17 Quinnipiac welcomed the Sun Devils to Connecticut with a 5-0 victory for the Bobcats.

Freshman goalie Ryland Pashovitz did all he could, and he kept the game from getting out of hand early. He had 20 saves and one goal allowed in the first period before Quinnipiac was able to break through. The Bobcats netted two in the second and two more in the third. Pashovitz finished with 52 saves, a season-high for the Sun Devils.

Thomas Aldworth had two tallies, while Devon Toews, Sam Anas and Travis St. Denis each had one.

Arizona State continues its Connecticut tour Friday when it travels to Hartford to take on the Connecticut Huskies. Puck drop is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. PT/7:05 p.m. ET.
