TEMPE, Ariz. - The Arizona State women's tennis team will be represented by junior Gussie O'Sullivan at the ITA Regional Championships in San Diego, Calif. on Thursday, Oct. 15.
The Australian native will participate in her first tournament of the season after a 17-9 season in 2014-15.
"I know Gussie is excited to get back on the court competing again," head coach Sheila McInerney said. "She has been practicing well and very hard these last three weeks and is ready to go."
Like her teammates the last two weeks, she enters a tournament stacked with tough competition from the Southwest region.
"The tournament field is incredibly strong with players from UCLA, USC and Pepperdine all playing," McInerney said. "It will be a great opportunity for Gussie to see where she is this early in the season.
"She is looking forward to it."
The regional tournament is set to last five days.
