TEMPE, Ariz. - Spots are still open for boys and girls grades 2-12 to register for Charli Turner Thorne’s Basketball Day Camp taking place June 15-18.
Campers will learn the fundamentals of shooting, passing, ball handling, rebounding, defense and much more. From the basics to advanced skills, the Sun Devil camp staff wants to help campers become the best they can be.
Campers will be divided into two divisions: 2nd-6th grade and 7th-12th grade.
Division 1: (7th- 12th grade)
This division is for players interested in becoming the best they can be. ASU coaches and players will teach and drill the fundamentals of shooting, 1-on-1 moves, position work, passing, ball handling, rebounding, defense, and much more.
Division 2: (2nd- 6th grade)
This will offer young players instruction in various basketball fundamentals and a chance to improve already developed skills. For young basketball enthusiasts there is no better way to spend their summer.
Both full day (9 am - 4 pm/$250.00) and half day sessions (9 am - noon/$150.00) are offered.
All camps will be run by ASU women’s basketball coaches (Turner Thorne and associate head coaches Meg Sanders and Amanda Levens and assistant coach Jackie Moore) and current and former Sun Devil players and will take place on ASU's campus.
