ST LOUIS, Mo.—Arizona State wrestling’s redshirt junior Blake Stauffer finished in fourth on the final day of the 2015 NCAA Wrestling Championships, Saturday at the Scottrade Center.
Stauffer (37-3) started the day with a 6-2 decision victory over Ohio State’s Kenny Courts, and ultimately was edged in a 3-2 decision by Edinboro’s Victory Avery in the third-fourth place match.
On the final day of the 2015 season, Stauffer picked up his 80th career victory, and is now 80-19 in his tenure as a Sun Devil.
As a team, the Sun Devils finished with 12.5 points, and the final standings will be announced upon the conclusion of the tile matches Saturday evening.
