SALT LAKE CITY, Utah -- Junior transfer Taylor Allex scored the fourth-highest score in the last five years for ASU in her all-around debut in dual meet against former team Utah. The Sun Devils fell short of the team title with the Utes winning the meet 197.825-194.100.

With an all-around score of 39.375, Allex recorded the fourth highest all-around score in the last five years of ASU gymnastics and the highest score since 2010. Allex tied career highs on vault and floor and set a new career high on bars.

As a team, the Sun Devils put up solid scores in the meet but was hampered by lack of depth on vault. 

Senior Natasha Sundby returned to form after missing the previous meet to tie a career high of 9.900 on vault and score a 9.850 on floor. 

Next up, the Sun Devils travel to Tucson, Ariz. to compete for the Territorial Cup Series point in gymnastics. The Feb. 16th meet, which will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks, begins at 7 p.m. at the McKale Center.
