TEMPE, Ariz. - All Arizona State University students, alums and supporters are encouraged to partake in an “ASU Gold Out” on Sunday, Feb. 1, at the Waste Management Phoenix Open by wearing wear gold golf shirts or t-shirts.
The “ASU Gold Out” is a chance for all Sun Devils to demonstrate their school pride and turn one of the biggest sporting events of the year into Sun Devil Territory. Join the conversation all week long using #ASUGoldOut and fans unable to attend the tournament on Sunday are encouraged to wear gold throughout the event.
The Waste Management Phoenix Open has become a staple of the Phoenix Valley and much like ASU, the tournament represents accessibility, inclusion and innovation. Former Sun Devil and current professional golfers Matt Jones, Phil Mickelson, Pat Perez and Chez Reavie, and current men’s golf student-athlete Jon Rahm, will be participating in this year’s tournament.
