The Sun Devil Caravan made its inaugural stop in Phoenix on Tuesday, stopping by ASU Preparatory Academy for Sparky’s Tour and Family Fest and Macayo’s Central for a meet and greet with Vice President for University Athletics Ray Anderson, men’s basketball coach Herb Sendek, and women’s basketball coach Charli Turner Thorne.

Sun Devil student-athletes kicked off the caravan with a pep rally at ASU Preparatory Academy in downtown Phoenix. Already well versed with the pitchfork and the A-S-U chat, the star of the event was Sparky who elicited screams usually reserved for the likes of Justin Bieber.
