ASU: Talented defensive back with great size for his position...began his career as a walk-on and ended it as one of the team's starting safeties as a senior...appeared in 44 career games, making 12 starts, recording 65 tackles (49 solo), an interception, a forced fumble and a blocked punt...made his first career start and recorded an interception in ASU's 2007 win over rival Arizona.

2008: Appeared in all 12 games, with 10 starts...recorded 37 tackles (29 solo), four pass break-ups and a forced fumble on the season...had five tackles in season-opening win over Northern Arizona on Aug. 30...collected two tackles and two pass break-ups in victory over Stanford on Sept. 6...posted a season-high eight tackles and a pass break-up against UNLV on Sept. 13...recorded four solo tackles against Oregon on Oct. 25...had six tackles, a pass break-up and forced a fumble that was returned for an ASU touchdown in win at Washington on Nov. 8...totaled five solo tackles, including a tackle-for-loss, in season finale at Arizona on Dec. 6.

2007: Played in all 13 games, starting the final two (against Arizona on Dec. 1 and against Texas in the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl on Dec. 27)...had 22 tackles (15 solo), an interception and a pass break-up on the season...collected two tackles in season-opener against San Jose State on Sept. 1...recorded three tackles in victory over California on Oct. 27...had a season-high nine tackles (eight solo) against USC on Nov. 22...posted four tackles (two solo) and intercepted Arizona quarterback Willie Tuitama on the first play of the second half, with his 37-yard return setting up an ASU field goal, in victory over the Wildcats on Dec. 1...finished the season by starting and making two tackles in Pacific Life Holiday Bowl against Texas on Dec. 27.

2006: Appeared in seven games...collected three total tackles (two solo).

2005: Saw action in two games (Northwestern and Washington), and was awarded a medical redshirt for the season due to the substantial time he missed because of injury...was awarded a scholarship in the spring.

2004: Played in 10 games as a true freshman...saw most of his action on special teams...recorded three solo tackles...blocked a punt Nov. 13 vs. Washington State.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate of Cathedral High School in Los Angeles...was his team's defensive MVP as a linebacker and safety in 2004...earned first-team all-league honors as a senior...was also a second-team all-conference selection in 2003...led the defensive backfield with 85 tackles in 2002...also blocked four field goals and had four sacks that season...earned three letters in football and one in track...captained his football team three seasons and his track team in 2004...rushed for 1,200 yards and scored 12 TDs to go along with 90 tackles in 2001...lists his most exciting sports experiences as scoring his first two rushing TDs in 2001-02 and returning a kickoff 96 yards in overtime to start his team's comeback playoff victory over El Segundo in 2003...anchored his team's 4x100 relay team which won a league championship and broke a 50-year old school record...also competed in the 100, 200 and shot put...attended the same high school as former ASU defensive back Mike Davis, Jr....was coached by Kevin Pearson, Mike Davis, Sr. and Javier Sid.
