Player Bio: Sarah Harris - Arizona State University Official Athletic Site

2010 Summer: Represented South Africa and played the majority of every game in the World League, played in Greece and France.

2010 Season: Finished with 38 goals, third best on the squad, a team-leading 30 steals, and 14 assists in her debut season with the Sun Devils...a 2010 ACWPC Honorable Mention All-American selection, one of only 10 players in school history to earn All-American accolades...earned MPSF Mikasa Newcomer of the Week honors after scoring a season-high five goals against No. 3 California April 3...matched her season-high point total with three goals and a pair of assists April 18 in a win over No. 15 Indiana...collected a season-high three assists with a pair of steals in a win over No. 9 CS Northridge Feb. 27...recorded three goals and a season-high four steals March 20 against No. 7 San Jose State...netted a trio of goals, plus a steal, in a win over No. 5 Michigan Feb. 28...scored two goals and added a steal in her first career game with the Sun Devils Jan. 30 vs. No.17 CS Bakersfield...won 82 of 98 sprints...scored three or more goals in a game four times...earned ACWPC All-Academic individual honors.

2009 Summer: Led South Africa in goals scored with eight at the FINA World Championships in Rome...appeared in five matches with South Africa.

Prior to ASU: Comes to Tempe with a wealth of experience having already played one year in the MPSF (2007 with Pacific) and various international events... led her native South Africa at the 2009 FINA World Championships in Rome, Italy... scored a team-high eight goals in five games as RSA placed 16th overall in the championships... sang her country's national anthem at the World Championships.

Pacific: Attended the University of the Pacific in Stockton, Calif., for one year... competed on the water polo team... led the team in scoring with 102 goals as a freshman... is the only player in UOP history to score more than 100 goals in a season... scored a career-high seven goals against Cal Baptist (4/7/07)... led the MPSF in overall scoring and goals per game average (3.40)... earned a place on the All-MPSF Honorable Mention and MPSF All-Freshman teams... was the lone freshman selected to the All-MPSF teams (first, second and honorable mention included).

High School: A 2005 graduate of Reddam House College in Cape Town, South Africa... competed in several sports, including water polo, swimming & diving, track & field and cross country... represented South Africa in several international events, including the 2004 national team... selected as the best player in South Africa in 2004... served as the team captain for the Western Province U19 team in 2005... helped Reddam House to the Walla Cup Championship.

Personal: Majoring in education... born November 11, 1988, in Cape Town, South Africa... parents are Mark and Dee Harris... has two siblings: brother Paul and sister Rebecca Mann... brother Paul is a member of the South African cricket team and is one of the Top 20 bowlers in the world... hobbies include reading, sleeping and hanging out with friends... full name is Sarah Lee Harris.
